PulsePlus Boot Camp


PulsePlus Outdoor/Indoor Boot Camps offer a variety of multi-week fitness experiences in Toronto and we will soon be expanding in the West & East Toronto region.


You’ve come to the right place. Participants who attend PulsePlus Boot Camps typically stay for several multi-week sessions because they demand the results that come from intense training workouts. Don’t just take our word for it!  Become part of the amazing PulsePlus lifestyle experience.


When will I know that registration for PulsePlus Boot Camp was successful?


You will automatically be sent an email confirming receipt of your payment and enrollment in the class.


What types of PulsePlus Boot Camps are offered?


Members can choose a seven or ten week lifestyle experience; with classes offered one, two, three to five days per week. Classes are held for one hour.


How long is a PulsePlus Boot Camp session?


Sessions are typically seven-weeks long, unless special arrangements are made with
a PulsePlus Boot Camp instructor.


What forms will I be required to complete?


You will be required to fill-out a PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire)
Participant Release and Waiver Agreement (print, signed and dropped-off at the office)


What is a Resolution Pass?


PulsePlus recognizes that work and other commitments can make it difficult to stick to a set workout regime. The Resolution Pass is offered free of charge and at your convenience for the occasions that you need to attend a class at a different location over the seven week period.


What are the PulsePlus Boot Camp locations?


Classes are held at our four Toronto locations. Ask us about our East and West expansion.

What is your refund policy?


Participants are permitted to make up any missed classes from their Boot Camp session at a later date, subject to instructor approval. Both parties must clearly understand what dates will be missed, and when the missed classes will be made up. 
Participants can attend a class at any of our locations should a class be missed due to unexpected circumstances.


Do PulsePlus Boot Camps run on holidays?


No classes will be offered on holidays; however, classes are conveniently modified and built around holiday schedules. 


May I attend different classes to fit my schedule?


Yes, we offer a flexible arrangement where our participants can attend any location at any time.


Is there free parking at all of your locations?


Yes.


Do PulsePlus Boot Camps meet during rain, snow or shine?


Yes, we have access to indoor facilities for most of our locations.


Who attends PulsePlus Boot Camps?


Participants will vary according to the level of intensity, such as Warriors (beginners to intermediate), Titans (intermediate to advance), G-Style (advance+) class and sport-specific programs for athletes. 
People of all ages and from all walks of life take classes, particularly those from the business community.

Why should I join PulsePlus Boot Camp?


Our classes are filled with great people from all walks of life. During the classes, we rotate partners to promote teamwork, so you can meet new people and work together while having a great time.


What can I expect at PulsePlus Boot Camp?


Our sessions are designed to be inclusive. You will feel included in all of the exercises and are sure to succeed.
Expect to be sore as your body is adjusting the first two to three weeks. This will be the toughest part of the program. However, once you acclimatize to the routines, you will experience less discomfort throughout the remaining weeks. Stretches, warm-ups and cool downs will help minimize the soreness.


I am a “physical specimen” will I get a workout?


Yes, if you are prepared for an intense training session. If our class exceeds your expectations, we look forward to seeing you in a full multi-week series of classes. On the other hand, if our class does not meet your expectations, you likely learned a few new exercises and met a group of likeminded people, courtesy of Pulseplus.


How are classes designed?


Pulseplus promotes inclusion at every level of fitness.


Who should join PulsePlus Boot Camp?


People seeking to enhance their physical performance and well-being, and those looking for a challenging change from their regular routines.


Does Pulse provide health and wellness assessments?


Yes, we can suggest various assessment components, and design an assessment to fit your needs and interests. With this set of baselines you can structure your program goals and strive for success. The appraisal will take place before your first class and within two days of your last class.


Does the class involve running, pushups and working with weights?


Yes! We emphasize the basics, but by stressing variety and using various types of fitness equipment. The goal is also to have fun!


How can I provide anonymous feedback?


You can use an online form to submit your feedback to Pulse via internal email. No names, contact information, etc., just your anonymous feedback.


How can we keep PulsePlus Boot Camp the best?


Should you be interested in trying out new exercises or equipment you’ve heard of just let us know. We can add new exercises to our classes, and purchase additional equipment if needed.


What kind of results can I expect?


We hesitate to promise specific results, as these vary greatly depending on an individual’s goals, effort, and lifestyle. In general, our class participants improve their mood, motivation, strength, self-confidence, and, especially, their endurance; other participants interested in weight management will notice healthy weight loss and an increase in muscle tone.


What exercises are performed in a PulsePlus Boot Camp?


Our seasoned instructors deliver a range of core-strengthening exercises, plyometrics, agility exercises, calisthenics, speed drills, circuit training and toning exercises.


What can I do to maintain my level of fitness?


Participants have many options. They can try private or semi-private one-on-one training from our personal trainers to continue realizing new potentials.


How do I take my fitness to the next level?


We recommend that you have a thorough health and wellness appraisal after the Boot Camp. Then Pulseplus can help you design a lifestyle-tailored program to maximize your potential.


What results should I expect following 7 weeks?


This is a common question, and we can’t honestly promise any one particular benefit across the board – such as gaining strength, increasing muscle tone, and, for those who are interested, losing weight – to everyone. This simply can’t be done. We don’t claim to perform miracles, but will help you get the results you want and are prepared to work for. Almost all participants succeed in achieving their goals following a multiple week commitment.


May I bring my pet?


Please be aware that some people are afraid of dogs. Certain dogs can be very disruptive to a class, so we reserve the right to ask you not to bring yours to class. Please feel free to register for Pulseplus “Doggy Boot Camp” for you and your pet.


Could Pulseplus offer a Wedding Boot Camp?


Yes. That special day is just around the corner, and we’d be happy to work with your wedding party. We work with the bride, groom and his/her closest friends, and/or have everyone together in one class! Help us tailor the class to meet your needs.
We design a multi-week session to get you in great shape before your wedding date.
If you’ve got a wedding coming up, you’ve got enough on your mind. No need to worry about purchasing and bringing equipment to a class – let us arrange everything for all members of your Wedding Boot Camp.


How do less than optimal weather conditions affect classes?


PulsePlus boot camps operate indoor and outdoor. Therefore, upon heavy rainfall, or other less than desirable weather conditions, we can easily take the class in doors, or keep it outside if every single person in class is in favor.


Do PulsePlus Boot Camps run throughout the year?


Yes, we have classes starting at various dates, times, and locations around Toronto. Please do contact us for more information about our current classes.


What happens when the seven-week session ends?


On the last day of boot camp following the re-testing, we will provide all graduates with a Certificate of Completion. You may also find yourself in the 85 percentile of those who return, having acquired a healthy addiction to the Pulseplus Boot Camp!
